If fishing flows in your veins as it does in our, and if your excitement level soars with the thought of a mighty Alaska salmon as it darts from bank to bank in a feeble attempt to rip the rod from your powerful grasp. Flip a fly or cast a lure from the on site banks of the famous Little Susitna river. This has been a top destination of locals and visitors alike but be forewarned as the camping sites are popular and best reserved ahead.

Local fishing guide services are available at the campground office. Fish for five different species of Alaskan salmon (Coho, King, Sockeye, Chum, and Pink) here on the Little Susitna. Note: this river is second only to the Kenai River in number of Coho (Silver Salmon) caught. Spring through fall, the fishing here is outstanding.

Kathy & Dan Graham welcome you to Bear Dance Village and RV Center and the world of Alaska. Located on the George Parks Highway close to the picturesque town of Talkeetna and Sunshine. Amenities include a “Bear Dance Shuttle” service to local fishing spots, grocery store, service station and the scenic beauty of the great outdoors. There is a licensed fishing guide available but again try to book ahead to assure availability.
